Legality
School Time Bible is recognized as constitutional and legal in all fifty states.
Guidelines that must be followed are:
- Bible classes must be held off school property.
- No public funds may be used to finance the Bible classes.
- Students must have signed parental permission to attend School Time Bible classes.
The local School District does not endorse or oppose this program in any way. The School District is accommodating the wishes of parents that want to take advantage of this educational opportunity.
Curriculum
The curriculum used in every School Time Bible Ministries’ class is, “God’s Plan of Redemption.” It takes a unique approach to teaching the Bible. The course is a study of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation which examines God’s plan to redeem mankind throughout history. The curriculum gradually unfolds the Bible and traces historical revelation through the Old and New Testaments.
Classes
School Time Bible classes are only legal if held off campus in a non-school building. Local churches provide the space, volunteers and teachers for all classes.
Start a program at your church
Schedule
Class dates and times are scheduled with the school administration according to the school’s schedule. Students are released from school during a related arts or elective class. Some students are released during their lunch also. In these instances lunch will be provided for the students by the host church.
Transportation
Students are transported by bus or walk with church volunteers to a nearby church or non-school building for Bible classes and are returned to the school in time for their next class.
